# Register your CAC/PIV

Follow the step-by-step instructions to register your CAC/PIV authentication to Bidscale. CAC/PIC registration is not available to all users.

1. Navigate to the Bidscale login page at <https://select.bidscale.app/login>&#x20;
2. Accept the Acknowledgement and click the *Continue* button

   **DO NOT click the&#x20;*****Sign In with CAC/PIV*****&#x20;button**&#x20;
3. Enter your username and passcode
4. Click the *Sign In* button

5. Copy code sent to your email by <noreply@bidscale.com>, enter it on the Bidscale screen, and click the *Sign In* button&#x20;

Upon successful sign in, a pop up will appear asking if you would like to register your CAC/PIV card to your Bidscale account. If you would like to connect your CAC/PIV at another time, it can be accessed through your Account page in the left navigation bar.

6. Click the *Yes, continue* button&#x20;

7. Ensure your CAC/PIV card is connected to your reader and click the *Next* button&#x20;
8. You will be asked for the certificate and to enter your pin

   **If an error occurs you need to restart your browser by closing it out completely and restarting the process.**

7. Once CAC/PIV is successfully connected to your account click the *Done* button
